DESCRIPTION:Sewers NEEDED!\nThis Event is FREE!\n\nYou may have seen that the Australia has been ravaged by the worst brush fires they’ve seen in decades. Nearly 18 million acres have been burned and 500 million animals have been affected.\n\nAustralia needs sewers\, and that means us. Luke’s Sewing Center in Elsmere\, KY is hosting this event to make the necessary items so desperately needed to care for the affected wildlife.\n\n\nWhat We Are Providing:\n\n2 Sewing Educators to Assist You and guide the Class\nThe Space to Complete the Projects\nSewing Machines so You Don’t Have to Bring Yours\nFabric For the Pouches\nPatterns for the Projects\nIrons\, Rotary Cutters\, Scissors\, Cutting Mats for the Fabric\nFREE Lunch\, Snacks\, and Refreshments for Helpers\n\n\nWhat We NEED:\n\nWe need Sewers with some Experience!\nCan’t Sew? We welcome you to Cut Fabric and Iron Projects!\nIf you can’t make it and want to donate fabric we’ll use it!  We have the requirements listed on our Facebook Event.  If you need the list of what’s accepted\, send us an email.\n\nWe will have limited space and we are hoping for a great turn out from the community so we do ask that you RSVP. This will allow us to make sure we are not over crowded and that we have lunch for all attendees.\n\nCall and Reserve a Spot!\n859-342-6600\n\nThank you in advance for your interest and we can’t wait to help Australia!\n\nWe are planning several of these events to make different items.
