SUMMARY:Blanket Drive!
DESCRIPTION:We Need Your Help!\n\n\n\nWe are so excited to be partnering with the YWCA Domestic Violence Shelter. We are making blankets for babies\, toddlers\, and pre teens\, and they are so excited and appreciative! The Shelter houses up to 70 people and 40% children. These blankets are going to be loved by so many deserving children.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nHelp us create blankets:\n\n\n\n\n\nWe have designated 8 days to making these blankets. We need your help sewing them! Luke’s will be providing all thread and accessories\, we just need you and your machine!\n\nLuke’s will also be serving lunch on these days! So make sure to call ahead and sign up!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNovember 3rd\, 4th\, 10th\, &11th!\nDecember 1st\, 2nd\, 8th and 9th!\n\n(11:00am-4:00pm all days) \n\nWe’ll provide the space\, thread\, accessories\, pins\, scissors\, ect…\n\nAnd lunch! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLaquitta and Joanne are taking the time to cut all fabric for the blankets. So when you come to sew\, everything will be pre cut for you! Our goal is 100 blankets!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDonate some fabric:\n\n\n\n\n\n If you can’t donate your time we are accepting all donations of flannel and fleece or any monetary donations to help purchase more fabric.\n\n\nLaquitta and Joanne started this venture by donating over a hundred dollars to purchasing fabric\, Luke’s is matching that and housing this event\, and with everyones help with sewing and donating we are going to make a difference!\n\n\nFeel free to drop off donations (of fabric or cash) at any time! We already have baskets ready to fill up.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFlannel: For baby and toddler blankets\nFleece: for pre-teen blankets\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Luke’s Team in Tri-County wants to personally thank Paula L.\, Morag W.\, Darlene L.\, Diana M.\, Dee P.\, Marg M.\, Anne O.\, and Alice W.\, for generously donating fabric and money to this great cause!\nMany have already signed up to donate their time as well!\nThank You ladies!
